NATIONAL HOCKEY LEAGUE GAME COMING TO BINGHAMTON THIS FALL

OTTAWA SENATORS WILL TAKE ON THE  PITTSBURGH PENGUINS

BINGHAMTON, NY –  The Ottawa Senators will play a pre-season exhibition game in Binghamton for the second consecutive year on Tuesday, September 28, 2004.  A game against the Pittsburgh Penguins is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. at the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena.
“Ottawa has been great to us and this game is another example of them following through on their commitment to Binghamton,” said Binghamton Senators’ executive vice president of operations, Tom Mitchell.
The Ottawa Senators will travel a little further down Interstate 81 on September 30th to take on Pittsburgh again in Wilkes-Barre, Pa.  Pittsburgh is the NHL affiliate of the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.
Last season the Ottawa Senators defeated the Buffalo Sabres 3 - 2 in overtime before a packed house at the Arena.  Former Binghamton Senator Jason Spezza tallied the game winning goal.
Ticket information details will follow at a later date.  The game date and time is subject to change.
Season tickets for the 2004-05 campaign are now on sale at the Sens’ Executive Office – 3rd Floor of the Arena.  To purchase 2004-05 season tickets, the Sens’ office is open during the summer months from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. and can be reached by calling 722-SENS (7367).
