AHL RELEASES SCHEDULE FORMAT FOR THE 2004-2005 SEASON

Games against regional rivals will once again make up the bulk of the Binghamton Senators’ schedule.  The AHL release the scheduling format today, although the dates of each game have not yet been determined.
The B-Sens will play Albany the most in 2004 – 2005 with 10 games against the River Rats.   5 of those games will be played at the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena.  The B-Sens will play Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, Syracuse, and Rochester 8 times each.
October 16 is the scheduled date for the Senators’ home opener.  The opponent will be announced along with the entire 2004-2005 schedule later this month.
The AHL’s 69th season will comprise a total of 1,120 games.  Each of the league’s 28 members will play an 80 game schedule, including 40 home dates and 40 away dates.
The regular season will begin on Wednesday, October 13th and conclude on Sunday, April 17th.
