Allen Recalled From Trenton

The Binghamton Senators, in conjunction with the Ottawa Senators (NHL), announced today that goaltender Andrew Allen has been reassigned to Binghamton from the Trenton Titans (ECHL).

Allen began the regular season on the B-Sens roster before being reassigned to Trenton October 13th.  In 41 games with the Titans, Allen has a 20-16 record with a 2.59 goals against average with three shutouts.

Allen appeared in five games last season with Binghamton with a record of 2-1 and a 1.92 goals against average.

Allen’s season ended prematurely last year while with the Senators when he suffered a knee injury at the end of the first period of a 1-1 tie at Bridgeport March 16, 2003.

Allen will join the club for tonight’s contest in Rochester (7:35 p.m.) and will travel with the club for their Sunday encounter with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers (4:05 p.m.).
