THIS WEEK…

Binghamton faces their first weekend of back-to-back games in the 2009-10 season, as they gear up to face two East Division rivals.

Friday, Oct. 9 vs. Syracuse Crunch (Columbus Blue Jackets)
After splitting their pre-season series, 1-1, the B-Sens face the Syracuse Crunch for the first of ten games between the two teams regular season action.  The B-Sens have an all-time record of 31-23-2 versus the Crunch.

Promotions: Friday’s game is Fire Safety Night with the B-Sens.  Sentry Alarms will be on hand to provide fire hats for all children in attendance.

Saturday, Oct. 10 vs. Hershey Bears (Washington Capitals)
The defending Calder Cup champion Bears make their first trip to the Arena for the 2009-10 season.  B-Sens fans will recognize a couple names in the line-up for the Bears.  Center Alexandre Giroux spent two seasons with the Binghamton Senators (2002-03 to 2003-04) appearing in 126 games, while defenseman Greg Amadio skated for the B-Sens in 50 games in the 2007-08 season.  Although the Bears have the upper hand on the B-Sens in overall all-time standings, Binghamton is 13-10-1 when playing the Bears on home-ice.

Promotions: Fans in attendance will receive a treat courtesy of Fisher Nuts, while B-Sens will host their annual Season Ticket Holder Party immediately following the game.
