BINGHAMTON, N.Y. – The Binghamton Senators announced today back-to-back promotional nights as they host the Hershey Bears and Syracuse Crunch this coming weekend.
Friday, Oct. 19 is Outdoorsmen Night as the B-Sens host the Hershey Bears. Fans are encouraged to wear camouflage to the game as we celebrate all things outdoors and hunting related.
Eureka Camping Center will be on hand to raffle off a family-sized tent. Raffle tickets will be $1 each or $5 for an arms length. All proceeds from the raffle will benefit the Baden Powell Council of the Boys Scouts of America.
Friday is also a Price Chopper AdvantEdge Card discount night. Fans that present their valid Price Chopper AdvantEdge Card at the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena box office or at the B-Sens executive offices located on the third floor of the arena receive $4 off their purchase of a regular priced ticket. One discount ticket per card may be purchased.
Saturday, Oct. 20 is YWCA Night as the B-Sens host the Syracuse Crunch. Fans are encouraged to wear orange to the game to show their support for the YWCA of Binghamton/Broome County.
For over 150 years the YWCA USA, of which the YWCA of Binghamton/Broome County is a member, has served as a beacon of light for women and girls in their search for and fulfillment of productive lives. As the oldest and largest national and international organization dedicated solely to the empowerment of women and girls, especially through an aggressive effort to eliminate racism, the YWCA USA supports social services, conducts advocacy, provides education, trains leaders and fights for racial justice.
The first 500 fans in attendance who are 18 years of age or older will receive a “Buy One, Get One Free” coupon redeemable for lottery tickets courtesy of New York Lottery.
Members of the B-Sens game night staff will also be throwing New York Lottery balls into the crowd during the first intermission. Individuals who catch one of these balls can trade it in at the New York Lottery table on the arena concourse for a prize pack which includes $25 in scratch off tickets. Individuals redeeming the balls must be 18 years of age or older.
Saturday is also an AAA member discount night. Fans that present their valid AAA membership card at the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena box office or at the B-Sens executive offices located on the third floor of the arena receive $4 off their purchase of a regular priced ticket. Two discount tickets per card shown may be purchased.
Both nights doors will open at 6 p.m. Face-offs are 7:05 p.m.
