Rookie forward Bobby Butler recorded two goals and one assist last week. His goal Friday versus Hershey proved to be the game winner. Butler now leads the American Hockey League in game winning goals with five. Butler also leads the league in goals (14) and is tops among all rookies in scoring (14+7=21).

B-SENS BRINGING IT HOME TO THE COMMUNITY…

Don’t forget that the B-Sens have partnered with the Magic 101.7 Bears & Blankets program! Fans are encouraged to donate a new teddy bear and/or blanket in any of the collection barrels located throughout the greater Binghamton region. During the month of December the donations will then be distributed to local children’s organizations. B-Sens forward Corey Locke and his fiancée Chantal Corriveau will help deliver some of the bears to children in three local hospitals on Dec. 14.

Additionally, fans are encouraged to bring new teddy bears to the B-Sens game on Saturday, Dec. 11 versus Rochester. Immediately following the B-Sens’ first goal in the game, fans can toss new teddy bears onto the ice. Teddy bears collected at the game will then be donated to the Bears & Blankets program.
