MONTREAL, Q.C.– The B-Sens and Hamilton Bulldogs kicked off a “home-and-home” Friday night at the Bell Centre, home of the Bulldog’s NHL affiliate Montreal Canadiens.

At 15:59 on a two-man advantage Ryan Keller’s team-leading seventh goal of the season lifted the B-Sens to the 1-0. Martin St. Pierre and captain Denis Hamel each recorded assists on the goal.

At 8:02 of the second period, Jason Bailey scored his first professional goal to give the B-Sens a 2-0 lead on the Bulldogs.

The Bulldogs would finally get on the board in the third period at 18:39 courtesy of P. K. Subban on the power play.

Despite a flurry of shots in the final minute of play, the Bulldogs came up empty handed the remainder of the game and the B-Sens held on for the 2-1 victory.

The Binghamton Senators face the Bulldogs once more Sunday, Nov. 8 at 3 p.m. at Scotiabank Place, home of the parent Ottawa Senators. Tickets start at $14 and can be purchased by visiting www.CapitalTickets.ca, by phone at 613-599-FANS (3267) or 1-877-788-FANS (3267); in person at The Sens Store at Rideau Centre and Place d’Orléans; at any Ottawa Sports Experts location and at the Scotiabank Place box office.
