THIS WEEK…
Wednesday, March 17 vs. Hershey Bears (Washington Capitals)
The league-leading Hershey Bears head to Binghamton for a special St. Patrick’s Day tilt Wednesday night. A point against the B-Sens is just what the Bears need to clinch the East Division title. The B-Sens haven’t faired well against Hershey this season, with their only win against the Bears coming back on Oct. 24, 2009; a 5-2 B-Sens victory at the Giant Center in Hershey, P.A. On the bright side the B-Sens enter the game having earned 13 of a possible 16 points in their past eight games.
Promotions: B-Sens fans are encouraged to wear green to the game. Also the B-Sens will sport special St. Patrick’s Day jerseys, which will then be auctioned off post-game.
Friday, March 19 vs. Rochester Americans (Florida Panthers)
The Rochester Americans make their last trip to the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena on Friday. The Amerks hold the season edge on the B-Sens, going 6-2 in eight meetings so far. Rochester also enters the week with former B-Sen Max Gratchev on their roster. In nine games with the Amerks, Gratchev has scored four points (two goals, two assists), amassed six penalty minutes and is a plus-three.

Saturday, March 20 vs. Albany River Rats (Carolina Hurricanes)
Sunday, March 21 @ Albany River Rats
The B-Sens cap off the week with a home-and-home series against the Albany River Rats, completing the season series between the two East Division and I-88 rivals. Although the B-Sens swept the first four games of the series, outscoring the River Rats 14-7, Albany has rebounded to win the last two games convincingly. Feb. 13 the Rats shutout the B-Sens 7-0 and March 2 they defeated the B-Sens once more, this time by a score of 6-1. Both games were at the Times Union Center in Albany, N.Y. so the B-Sens are hoping that being back home in Binghamton will help turn their luck around. Ryan Keller has been the only Senator to hit the net in the past two games versus the Rats.
Promotions: Saturday night in Binghamton, the first 1,500 fans through the door receive a Max snow globe courtesy of the Binghamton Senators Booster Club. Saturday is also Mascot Night! Max will be joined by his fellow mascot friends from the American Hockey League and the Binghamton community!
