Brandon Segal cut the B-Sens’ lead in half just 15 seconds into the second period.
In the third period, Evan Oberg tied the game, 2-2, at 6:27, beating Mike McKenna with just five seconds remaining on an Admirals power play opportunity. Oberg also assisted on Segal’s second period tally, earning two points and first star honors.
Just as it appeared the game would stretch to overtime, Labrie put away the game winner off a rebound with 30 seconds remaining in regulation to claim the victory.
McKenna made his second consecutive start in goal for the B-Sens, falling to 13-16-0 on the season despite putting forth a 36 save effort. Dustin Tokarski turned aside 33 shots for the Admirals to improve to 24-11-0.

The B-Sens winless streak was extended to three games as they dropped a 2-1 decision to the Adirondack Phantoms at the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena on Saturday night. The game was decided in a shootout, with former B-Sens captain Denis Hamel scoring the game winning tally in the second round.
Despite both teams putting up a high number of shots, the B-Sens and Phantoms remained knotted at just one goal apiece through regulation and overtime. Mike McKenna drew first star honors in the game, making 50 saves in goal for Binghamton. At the other end of the rink, Michael Leighton would turn aside 41 shots.
Adirondack drew first blood in the game as Rob Bordson put the Phantoms on the board with just 7.6 seconds remaining in the game’s opening period.
The B-Sens answered, tying the game at 7:56 of the second period. Derek Grant deflected Rob Klinkhammer’s rebound into the net for his sixth goal of the season. Wacey Hamilton also drew an assist on the play.
Leighton would go on to stone all four Binghamton shooters in the shootout. Hamel and Bordson succeeded on their shootout attempts to claim the victory for the Phantoms.

The event will take place at the private home of Bob and Chris Lacey (656 Oak Hill Road, Binghamton) on Monday, March 12 from 6 to 9 p.m. In addition to a meet and greet with B-Sens coaches and players there will be appetizers, pizza and beverages.
