The Binghamton Senators continued a four game road swing in Canada Saturday night, falling to the St. John’s Ice Caps 4-3 at the Mile One Center.
The game winning goal came in the final two minutes of regulation courtesy of Jason King. Jason Jaffray, Eric O’Dell and Spencer Machacek also added goals for the IceCaps.
Stephane Da Costa, David Dziurzynski and Mike Hoffman scored goals for the B-Sens. 
Robin Lehner started in goal for Binghamton, making 44 saves. Edward Pasquale turned aside 18 shots to earn the win and improve to 14-6-0.
Sunday, Feb. 12: Binghamton 3, St. John’s 6

The Binghamton Senators wrapped up their road trip with a 6-3 loss to the St. John’s IceCaps Sunday afternoon.
Jason Jaffray and Ben Maxwell lead the offense for the IceCaps, as each player scored a pair of goals in the game. Maxwell would also draw an assist in the game, ending the afternoon with three points. 
Jason King and Carl Klingberg would also score, while Jason DeSantis tallied a pair of assists. 
Jack Downing, Josh Godfrey and Derek Grant each tallied goals for the B-Sens.  
Mike McKenna started in goal for Binghamton, turning aside 29 of 35 shots faced. He was pulled in favor of Robin Lehner in the third period. Lehner stopped three of four shots faced. David Aebischer made 22 saves for the IceCaps in the game.  
Standings:The B-Sens are fifth place in the East Division (43 points).
Friday, Feb. 17 vs. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins (Pittsburgh Penguins) – 7:05 p.m.
The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins come to town Friday for the eighth game of a ten game season series between the East Division rivals. The teams last met on Jan. 28, a 7-4 B-Sens victory.
Following a 4-0 shutout loss to the Norfolk Admirals on Wednesday night, the Penguins are now tied with the Admirals for first place in the East Division with 65 points. Wilkes-Barre enters Friday’s game with a record of 29-15-2-5. They also boast a road record of 18-5-0-3. 
Bryan Lerg (21+18=39) and Colin McDonald (12+27=39) are tied for the lead in points among their Pens teammates. 
Saturday, Feb. 18 vs. Portland Pirates (Phoenix Coyotes) – 7:05 p.m.
Up next this weekend the B-Sens welcome the Portland Pirates for their first and only regular season visit to the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena this season. The B-Sens travelled to Portland on Feb. 4, falling to the Pirates by a score of 5-2. 
The Pirates are currently sitting in fourth place overall in the Atlantic Division with a record of 24-21-3-3 and 54 points. 
Forward Brock Trotter leads the Pirates in points. Trotter has amassed 14 goals and 24 assists for 38 points through 40 games.   
Promotions: The Ottawa Senators’ Official Mascot Spartacat will perform at both B-Sens home games this weekend. Spartacat will also be signing autographs and taking pictures with fans on the arena concourse during the first intermission both nights.
Sunday, Feb. 19 @ Albany Devils (New Jersey Devils) – 4 p.m.
The B-Sens wrap up a weekend of three games in three nights as they travel to the Times Union Center in Albany on Sunday for a matinee versus the Devils.
Friday’s game will be the seventh of eight between the teams this season. Binghamton holds the edge in the season series having gone 4-2-0-0 against the Devils thus far.
The Devils currently sit in third place in the Northeast Division with a record of 22-19-5-3 and 52 points.
Joe Whitney (12+14=26) and Steve Zalewski (10+16=26) are tied for the team lead in points.
Fans can listen to this Sunday’s game live on “Binghamton’s Classic Hits” BIG 107.5 (WBBI-FM). Voice of the B-Sens, Grady Whittenburg will have the call beginning 30 minutes before game time as he hosts the Countdown to Faceoff. 
Forward Jim O’Brien scored his first National Hockey League goal in the Ottawa Senators’ 6-2 victory over the Florida Panthers last night. Prior to his Feb. 3 recall, O’Brien posted 14 points (seven goals, seven assists) in 27 games for the B-Sens. O’Brien remains the B-Sens’ leader in shorthanded goals (three) and game winning goals (four).
The Binghamton Senators have partnered with the Broome County High School Hockey Association and Southern Tier Hockey Association for a pair of fundraisers this weekend for Jack Jablonski. 
Jack Jablonski, known as Jabby or Jabs to his friends, is a 16 year old hockey player from Minnesota. On Dec. 30, Jablonski was checked from behind and careened into the boards head first, severing his spinal cord.
Beginning Friday, Feb. 17 as the B-Sens host the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins and continuing through the month of February at B-Sens home games, local youth hockey players will be selling red silicone Jack Jablonski wristbands for $2. 
Fans can also visit the Jack Jablonski table on the concourse to purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win one of many great prizes including an opportunity to sit with Voice of the B-Sens, Grady Whittenburg, during the radio broadcast of the B-Sens’ home game on Wednesday, March 21 versus the Bridgeport Sound Tigers and a private tour of the B-Sens locker room with captain Mark Parrish.
100% of the proceeds from the sale of the wristbands and raffle tickets will benefit “The Jack Jablonski Fund”, which is managed by Wells Fargo.
