The B-Sens forced the American Hockey League’s lone undefeated team into an overtime and shootout, before ultimately falling to the Penguins Saturday by a score of 2-1. Barry Brust put up another solid performance in the Binghamton net, turning away 36 of 37 shots faced in regulation and overtime. Steve Wagner put the Penguins on the board just 52 seconds into the third period on the power play; however Corey Locke spoiled the opportunity for a Wilkes-Barre win in regulation. With Brust pulled in favor of the extra attacker and just 10.6 seconds left on the clock, Locke found the back of the Pens net to tie the game and force overtime. Andre Benoit and Erik Condra each added assists. Ryan Keller and Mike Hoffman scored for the B-Sens in the shootout, while Dustin Jeffrey and Kevin Veilleux found the net for the Penguins. Wilkes-Barre winger Chris Conner tapped in a goal in the eighth round of the shootout, sealing the 2-1 victory, and extended the undefeated streak for the Penguins.
Standings:The B-Sens are currently tied with the Syracuse Crunch for fourth place in the East Division (seven points).

Saturday, fans are encouraged to come to the game in costume. There will be trick-or-treating throughout the concourse for kids. All fans that come in costume can join us at ice level for a first intermission costume parade on ice.
Goaltender Barry Brust earned the B-Sens’ nomination for the Reebok/AHL Player of the Week for the week ending Oct. 24. Brust helped the B-Sens earn three out of a possible four points in two games last week as he turned away 64 of 65 shots faced. He earned his first shutout of the season against the Wolf Pack Friday, stopping all 28 shots faced, including 14 in the second period.
Brust saw a consecutive shutout streak that began last Sunday in Toronto (11:08 of the second period), end in Wilkes-Barre Saturday.  Brust kept opponents scoreless for 129:04 over a span of three games.
Overall Brust has a record of 2-2-0-1, 2.15 goals-against average and a .935 save percentage.
Erik Condra currently has the longest active point streak for the B-Sens. Condra’s assist on Corey Locke’s game-tying goal in Wilkes-Barre Saturday was his third point in three games (two goals, one assist).
