Shots: Binghamton 40, Hershey 22
PP: Binghamton 0 for 4, Hershey 1 for 3

The B-Sens welcomed the Hershey Bears back to the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena in the fourth of eight regular season meetings between the two East Division rivals. The Bears continued the trend of the visiting team defeating the home team as they went on to pummel the B-Sens 5-2 (Hershey defeated the B-Sens 8-1 Oct. 10 and 3-2 in overtime Oct. 17 in Binghamton, while the B-Sens beat the Bears 5-2 at Hershey’s Giant Center Oct. 24). Despite peppering Hershey’s Jason Bacashihua with 40 shots, the B-Sens were only able to sneak two by. Ryan Keller and Martin St. Pierre would each register goals in the loss.

The Phantoms travel to Binghamton with a road record of 2-5-0-0. Adirondack may be without forward Jared Ross (1 goal + 6 assists) and Andreas Nodl (3 goals + 1 assist) who were recalled to Philadelphia.

The B-Sens hit the road for Toronto to face the Marlies Friday. The two teams have only met a total of 14 times so far all-time. The B-Sens have the upper hand when playing at the Ricoh Coliseum holding a record of 5-2-0-1-0. Binghamton will be looking to halt Marlies’ rookie forward Christian Hanson who ranks second overall in the AHL among rookies in scoring with 8 goals and 10 assists for 18 points in 18 games played. The meeting is the first of two this season between the teams. The Marlies make the trip to Binghamton for a late season match-up March 24.

Binghamton returns home Saturday for their third game in three nights to face the red hot Rochester Amerks, who enter the week leading the North Division with a record of 14-2-1-0 for 29 points. The B-Sens have dropped both games played against the Amerks thus far this season, losing both by a score of 4-2 on Oct. 21 and 30. Rochester’s Victor Oreskovich has been an offensive burden on the B-Sens recording one goal and three assists in the two meetings between the teams.
