The Binghamton Senators proudly announced today that the fourth annual Face Off Against Cancer, presented by Lourdes and held on Saturday, April 4 during the B-Sens game against Albany, raised $28,668.50 for the American Cancer Society and Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.
$10,000 of the total came through Matt Carkner and Denis Hamel’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer raffle, marking the second straight year that the raffle has generated $10,000 for the cause. Of the 500 raffle tickets, 10 were randomly drawn prior to the B-Sens game with a Grand Prize of $10,000 award. All raffle winners and their corresponding prizes are listed below.

The B-Sens wore one-of-a-kind pink jerseys against the River Rats. All game-worn and game-issued jerseys were auctioned off following the game with the proceeds going to Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.
The B-Sens also participated in several celebrity bartending events and a team bowling charity event in the weeks leading up to the Face Off Against Cancer to generate additional funds for the cause.
Over its first four years, the Face Off Against Cancer has generated nearly $60,000 to benefit the American Cancer Society and Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.
The American Cancer Society is the nationwide, community-based, voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem by preventing cancer, saving lives, and diminishing suffering from cancer, through research, education, advocacy, and service.
