The Skating Community for Opportunities in Recreation and Enrichment (SCORE) is a not for profit organization dedicated to providing ice recreation and youth oriented programming in the Western Broome County area. Through innovative partnerships with local businesses, government agencies and community leaders, THE SCORE’s goal is to build a year round ice skating and multipurpose recreational complex, known as THE SCORE Rink & Community Center, right in the heart of downtown Endicott.

The SCORE Rink & Community Center will help breathe life into an aged part of our community and be an impetus for economic delevopment in and around the facility. Their goals are.
  1. To provide a safe, supervised social and recreational venue for all community members regardless of age, race, gender, socio-economic status or physical ability.
  2. To meet the increasing demand for ice hockey and recreational skating time created by the recent decrease in available facilities (Grippen Park and Vestal STIC closings).
  3. To provide a point of destination for community and out of town guests, as well as create additional opportunities for local commercial development and activity.
  4. To reinvest in the Town of Union, Village of Endicott and Western Broome County area through new programming and facilities to benefit the entire community, from youth groups to senior citizens.
Ticket specials are being offers all weekend long to benefit several organizations.
