B-Sens fans that leave their seats during first intermission on Sunday will certainly be disappointed by what they missed. That is because “Rock on Ice,” a unique entertainment act that brings together spectacular ice sculpting, live rock music and impromptu comedy, will be performing for the fans.
Multiple demonstrations will be held by “Rock on Ice,” on Sunday, including two during the Winter Carnival (2:30 p.m. and 3:45 p.m.), and one on the Arena ice during the first intermission of the Senator’s game against Manchester. For more information on “Rock on Ice,” visit www.rockonice.com.
The aforementioned Winter Carnival, brought to you by YES! Safe Choice for Kids, a program sponsored by Senator Libous and Lourdes Hospital, will feature fun for the whole family from noon to 4 p.m. at the Arena. Carnival games, bounce houses, an obstacle course, juggling and magicians will be among the free entertainment options during the afternoon.
After enjoying all of the above activities, hungry carnival-goers will be treated to the Polar Bear Tailgate Party from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Like all of the activities at the Winter Carnival, the tailgate party is free! Visit www.yessafechoices.org for more information on the carnival.
Following the carnival, come inside the Arena and root on your B-Sens as they take on the Manchester Monarchs at 5:05 p.m. You can purchase tickets now by calling (607) 722-SENS.
Following the game, fans will be invited onto the ice to skate with the players for 45 minutes. Fans wishing to participate in the post-game skate must bring their own skates.
