The Binghamton Senators scored first and last on Saturday night, but Bridgeport netted three goals in between to edge Binghamton by a 3-2 final on Saturday night at the Arena at Harbor Yard.
Rookie Ilya Zubov put home a power-play marker at 6:59 of the opening period to stake the B-Sens to a 1-0 lead. Danny Bois and Josh Hennessy assisted.
Colton Fretter, recently acquired from the Chicago Wolves, buried consecutive markers five minute apart to send the Sound Tigers into the first intermission with a 2-1 advantage.
Winger Steve Regier connected for the eventual game-winner late in the second stanza, taking a feed from rookie Kyle Okposo and slipping it past netminder Brian Elliott.
The B-Sens made things interesting late in the third period when Niko Dimitrakos took a Josh Hennessy feed and buried it past Joey MacDonald to get the B-Sens within one goal.
With the loss, the B-Sens are now 4-3 this season against the Sound Tigers.
Josh Henessy finished the game with two assists, his second straight two-point effort.
