SENATORS RE-ASSIGN CENTER JOSH HENNESSY TO BINGHAMTON

The Ottawa Senators re-assigned today center Josh Hennessy to the Binghamton Senators of the American Hockey League.  Hennessy is expected to play tonight when the B-Sens host the Philadelphia Phantoms at 7:05 p.m.

The 22-year-old had no points in three games during his second recall of the season with Ottawa.  In five games with the Senators this season, Hennessy has been held scoreless and averaged 3:45 of ice time per game.

In 45 games with the B-Sens this season, Hennessy had 11 goals and 23 assists, tying defenseman Lawrence Nycholat for the team lead with 34 points.
