The Ottawa Senators recalled today left-winger Nick Foligno from the Binghamton Senators of the American Hockey League.

This is the third recall of the season for Foligno, who has recorded five goals, two assists, 12 penalty minutes and a +2 rating in 31 games with Ottawa.  He played his first NHL game against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Oct. 3 and scored his first goal against Carey Price of the Montreal Canadiens on Oct. 18.

In 17 games with the B-Sens, the 19-year-old had one goal, nine assists, 10 penalty minutes and a +1 rating.

Binghamton is in fifth place in the AHL's East Division with 51 points from 22 wins, 17 losses, two overtime losses and three shootout losses. The club's next game is Friday, Feb. 1, when it hosts the Norfolk Admirals.

Foligno was Ottawa's first-round pick, 28th overall, in the 2006 NHL entry draft.
