SENATORS OPEN 2007-08 AGAINST ALBANY

Tonight’s game is the first of eight games between East Division foes Albany and Binghamton.  The Sens were 3-5-0-0 (W-L-OTL-SOL) against the Rats last season, including a 5-4 OTW in the club’s final match-up of 2006-07.  Binghamton holds a commanding lead (24-13-3-1-1) [W-L-T-OTL-SOL] in the all-time series with Albany, with 12 of those victories coming at the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena.

B-Sens’ head coach Cory Clouston announced captains and assistant captains for the 2007-08 season.  Binghamton’s all-time leading scorer Denis Hamel will wear the “C” once again, as he did in 2005-06.  Defensemen Greg Amadio and Lawrence Nycholat, along with winger Danny Bois were named alternate captains.
