DAVE CAMERON RETURNS TO COACH TORONTO OF THE ONTARIO HOCKEY LEAGUE

The Toronto St. Michael’s Majors today announced they are bringing back one of their own. After spending the last three seasons guiding the Binghamton Senators of the American Hockey League, Dave Cameron rejoins the Majors organization in a dual capacity as the club’s new general manager and head coach.

The 48-year old native of Kinkora, P.E.I. led the Binghamton Senators to a 105-106-16-13 record in three seasons as head coach, including a franchise record 47 wins, 106 points and a East Division championship in 2004-05.

Prior to Binghamton, Cameron coached the Majors to a 145-87-30-10 record in four seasons (2000-01 to 2003-04).  The Majors reached the Ontario Hockey League’s Eastern Conference finals in each of Cameron’s four seasons at the helm.

“The Majors is a great hockey organization and this team has enormous potential,” stated Cameron.

Binghamton Senators’ season tickets are on sale!  Fans can purchase tickets at the Binghamton Senators executive office, third floor of the Arena (Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.), or by calling (607) 722-SENS.
