BEARS CLAW B-SENS 7-1

The Binghamton Senators surrendered seven unanswered goals to the Hershey Bears on Saturday night, as the defending champion Bears claimed a 7-1 victory at Giant Center before 9,581 fans.

Ryan Vesce gave Binghamton a 1-0 lead early, as the Senators capitalized on a Bears hooking call to net the power-play tally.  Cory Pecker assisted on the goal.

The Bears offense responded as winger Scott Barney collected four points (2+2=4) and Joey Tenute added three points (1+2=3) to pace the high-powered Hershey attack.

Chris Bourque and Matt Hendricks each had a goal and an assist, while former Binghamton Senator Andy Hedlund had an assist for Hershey.

Binghamton returns to the Arena tomorrow to take on the River Rats at 5:05 p.m. Catch all the action LIVE on Q107 FM (106.7 or 104.5), via webcast or B2 Networks streaming video cast at www.binghamtonsenators.com
