The Ottawa Senators have today reassigned goaltender Kelly Guard to the club's American Hockey League affiliate, the Binghamton Senators.
This was the fourth call-up of the season for Guard. The Prince Albert, Sask., native has served as the Senators' back-up goaltender in seven games, most recently in Ottawa's 4-3 victory over the Edmonton Oilers.
In 31 games played this season in the AHL, Guard has nine wins, 16 regulation time losses and three shootout losses. The 23-year-old also has a 0.894 save percentage and 3.38 goals-against average.
